BEHAVIOUR

MODIFICATION

Behaviour modification for aggression towards humans and dogs, resource guarding (food or toy aggression), obsessive compulsive behaviours & anxiety issues.

When it comes to addressing and solving behavioural issues it is essential to address underlining causes of the undesireable behaviour. This process is not only about teaching obedience to mask any issues, we intend to delve deep into the dog’s breed, age, environment, diet, routines, management and much more to be able to truly find the cause and base our sessions on finding real, long term solutions to any behaviour issue.

It is important to focus on teaching our dogs what it is we want them to do, rather than solely stopping undesirable behaviour. Most importantly we want to be able to fulfil the dog’s biological needs (mentally, physically and emotionally) to learning how to implement theory into pragmatic techniques help people become effective leaders and dogs to be happy, healthy and social.

Testimonials

Panos helped with my beagle x spaniel who I rescued from being surrendered. After speaking to other trainers on the phone (not even in person) who told me to put him down due to his behaviour (aggressive toward other dogs while on the lead) and that he could not be fixed, Panos taught me how to read Ozzy, how to work with him and how to train him to be the best dog he can be. We now walk loose lead, past other dogs with minimal problems. I have also used their dog sitting service and it is amazing, and I am using it again in the near future. I thank Nooches Pooches and highly recommend him to anyone who mentions they need a trainer or sitter.
— Tracey Newman
We feel so grateful that we disvovered Panos when we got our puppy. His love and innate understanding of dogs was evident from the minute he met us and our puppy. His training techniques second to none and without him we would have a very different dog from the calm, happy, obedient dog we love. Cannot recommend Nooch’s Pooches highly enough.
— Don Strachan
Nooch’s puppy training was the best thing I’ve done for both me and our puppy. Nooch’s came to my home and saw the puppy’s surroundings, how the whole family interacts with him and taught us all how to read signs our puppy is giving us to better understand him while doing our basic training. And with the one-on-one training sessions, he was able to focus on things we were struggling with. Now that our pup is 6 months, he’s old enough for the obedience training which we will definitely be doing. My husband and I recommend him to everyone we know. You will not be disappointed!
— Joanne Savvidis
I contacted Panos for help with my Staffy after over hearing a lady talking about the great results she had with him for her aggressive dog. I had already worked with 2 other dog trainers with little success for my fear aggressive dog so was doubtful Panos would have anything different to teach me but thought it was worth a shot. During that first session I knew I’d made the right decision. Panos’s approach is a balanced one of both correction and reward which enabled me to be able to walk my dog again without having to worry about maintaining control around other dogs. He loves dogs and understands what they need from us to help them be the companions we want them to be. If you’re having troubles with your dog or want to start your puppy off on the right path I’d thoroughly recommend you call Panos.
